"I've had a daily yoga practice since the year 2000 but due to many past athletic injuries parts of my body always seemed out of sink. The one thing that bothered me was that all my toes would curl up every time I would squat or bent my knees while in an upward position. The result of which threw me off balance. In order to address this issue I went to May for a course of ten Rolfing sessions. After my tenth treatment May sent me on my way, telling me that my body would take anywhere from one to six months to re-align itself. If I did not have faith in the Rolfing process I may have been skeptical. Within the first month both my knees began to ache. So much so that i began to worry, thinking that I had injured them somehow. At the time I did not realize this was part of the healing process.
